Job Description:
As the General Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to enhance our online presence and engage with our audience. You will create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, and written) while ensuring that our brand voice is consistent across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Create, edit, and publish engaging content in Yoruba, including text, images, and videos.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and community engagement.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and host online sessions and events.
• Utilize Canva for designing graphics and promotional materials.
• Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to improve engagement and reach.
• Stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Yoruba.
• Strong skills in photo and video editing.
• Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools.
• Experience in managing social media accounts for organizations or brands.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience hosting online sessions is a plus.
